See black belt Jones and against the rain at Empire underground on Saturday. So right now we are going to check out a song from Gozer. This is weight of the world on unsigned 500 eighteen's weekend spot. [00:02:24] Speaker B: Reason left unclear, up to the new illusion, this is all Jeremiah. Full moon is on the rise, Alice carries his offering alone, true lies, capable lies. Spill your bio, this is your own in my ear. Oh, it's about the hand that beats you. Burn up is when you can let your master play. Manifest our false indignities. Never take soul lacking, Alice carries his offer alone. New life, April lies. Spare file, this is your own. [00:03:46] Speaker C: Spillage. [00:03:48] Speaker B: Is your own nephire. Two lies, hateful life. Why you so surprised? Spare file, this is your own demise. [00:05:47] Speaker A: So that was way to the world from Gozer. And again, you can catch them at Empire underground on Saturday with out of my head breached the asylum, black belt Jones and against the rain. And right now we're going to check in with a friend of mine. You know him as the lead singer of eerie. He also plays with Sidney Worthley. He does solo stuff. He is a journalist, he is a producer. He is just one of the coolest guys that I know. So we're going to say hi to TJ Foster. What's up, TJ? [00:06:14] Speaker D: Hey, Andy. [00:06:15] Speaker A: Good to hear from you, man. [00:06:16] Speaker D: What's up? [00:06:16] Speaker A: Oh, you know, just having, having one of those days with all this stupid snowmelt. A lot of, a lot of homeowner issues happening. Happening currently with all this freaking water. But other than that, you know, fantastic. How are you? [00:06:32] Speaker D: I'm great, man. Adulting's fun. Yeah. [00:06:36] Speaker A: So I just wanted to basically pop in. I know you've got, like, a bunch of stuff coming up, like, not only solo stuff, but with Sydney, with Erie, and there's just so much stuff. So I was like, you know, let's just give TJ a call and have him fill us in. So what do you got coming up? [00:06:54] Speaker D: Oh, well. Well, thanks for checking in with me, man. I'm keeping super busy, which is awesome, playing a lot of music, but, yeah. First up, I have the pleasure of accompanying our mutual friend Sydney Worthley at Lark hall this Saturday, opening up for a touring artist called Haley Jane. It's gonna be really always a beautiful night in that venue, so I expect nothing less from this. 1. April 9, I have the pleasure of making my song city debut in Troy, the wonderful event that Scott womer curates. So I'm playing with John Glenn from, like, the Astronaut, stellar, young, and a couple of other awesome songwriters. So that's April 9 at the ruck. And then Erie has been very busy working on a new record, so we haven't been playing out much, but we're finally getting back out there on the 20th up at MCLA in North Adams, Mass. And then obviously, the big event is Andy Palooza two on May 18 at single cut, which we are incredibly stoked for. Probably going to debut some new stuff just for you. [00:08:19] Speaker C: So. [00:08:19] Speaker D: Yeah, man, keeping super busy and very grateful to. To be busy. [00:08:24] Speaker A: Yeah, that's awesome. And we actually kind of unplanned, you know, because we didn't talk about this ahead of time, but, like, I am featuring the. The show, the Haley Jane band at Lark hall with Sidney Worthley opening. And I didn't even realize that you were playing with her until you said that. And I should have known because you did send me. You did send me the list of all your events, and, uh, I guess I just didn't look at them enough. [00:08:52] Speaker D: That's okay, man. In your defense, we didn't know we were playing until about a week and a half ago either. [00:08:59] Speaker A: Yeah, that's funny, because when I talked to Sydney today, I said, I was like, I hear a rumor that you are, because I think it was Mikey Bash who told me to put it on my radar. And I was like, huh? I don't see. I didn't see. See it anywhere. And then I asked Sidney, I was like, is. Is the rumor true? No. Actually, I. Actually, my exact words of the text are, can you confirm or deny the rumor that you're playing? [00:09:27] Speaker D: It's a very top secret performance. If anyone's going to spread the rumors, it's going to be Mikey Bash. [00:09:33] Speaker A: Right. But yeah, so, you know, it was, it was. It just happened to work out. Nice that I got to talk to you in the. In the same episode. So we're going to listen to a Sidney Worthley song in a little bit, but I think we should probably end by listening to an eerie song. What do you think? [00:09:52] Speaker D: Sure. I'm always down to listen to some eerie, I guess. [00:09:55] Speaker A: Who isn't? So, TJ, thank you so much for taking time out of your evening to speak with me. I really appreciate it. So go catch TJ either solo playing with Sidney Worth Lee or with Erie. And right now it is eerie. This is bad man's world on unsigned 500 and eighteen's weekend spotlight. Catch you later, TJ. [00:10:16] Speaker D: Take it easy, man. [00:10:40] Speaker E: Tina lives in Queens. She's got a couple of kids. The daddy, skip town, became a Wall street executive. Now they get a check on their birthdays. She gave herself a tattoo when she turned 15. Got hammered on the weekends with a convincing fake id. Now she killed a b 23. [00:11:05] Speaker A: You gotta play what you tell tier. [00:11:08] Speaker C: I swear I shoulda keep smoking. I should have kissed more girls. I'm trying to find my place in a bad, bad, bad man's world. [00:11:33] Speaker E: Jamie slept around, but now he's settling down. This high school sweetheart never could after what she found killing on only fans. He used to hollow apples to get high before school? Invested all his money in crypto before it was cool? And now he owns a dispensary. [00:11:58] Speaker C: Where I just put notes in the end, yeah, I should have kissed more boys. I should have kissed more girls. I'm trying to find my place in a bad, bad man's world. You've got your finger on the trigger. You came in right on time. Why don't you show me yours and I'll show, show, show you mine? And I face for me the time but it feels like a break of the night. I should have kissed you on your. [00:13:16] Speaker E: I should have kissed more girls. [00:13:19] Speaker C: I'm trying to find my place in a bad, bad man's world. You got your finger on the trigger. You came in right on time. Why don't you show me yours hell show, show you mine. I should have kissed more boys. I should have kissed more girls. I'm trying to find my place in a bed. Batman's world. [00:13:53] Speaker A: All right. That was Batman's world before that, of course, a conversation with eerie frontman TJ Foster. And so next up is an event that, well, you just kind of heard about it a little bit with TJ. It's Haley Jane band at Lark hall. And TJ will be opening with Sidney Worthley. It has been confirmed. The rumor has been confirmed. So Sidney Worthley opening up for Haley Jane band at Lark hall. It is this Saturday, March 30 at 08:00 p.m. And right now we're going to listen to a song from Sidney Wirthly. This is heart shaped mess on unsigned 500 eighteen's weekend spotlight. [00:14:44] Speaker F: I make it wishes in the mall fountain throwing pennies but I lost count when I remember I first stayed here I was 16 and you're my every tear. Maybe you think everyone's out to get me. But I know for sure that you love me the worst. Maybe I wish I didn't burn down my brick walls. I put them all up just for you to shut me down. How can I forgive you when I can't even forget you? You wish I just let it go and I feel like the bad guy. [00:15:32] Speaker C: For you ruining my life. [00:15:35] Speaker F: But for us that's just typical. I wish I knew you and you a little. Could explain why your kids still throw attention. Pick up the clash arms for you to grab one and stab me in the heart it may be a thing. [00:16:07] Speaker C: Everyone time to get me but I. [00:16:10] Speaker F: Don'T know for sure that you loved me the worst. I wish I didn't burn down our haunted house. [00:16:18] Speaker C: You lived in the attic. [00:16:20] Speaker F: There's still signs in the art now how can I forgive you? But I can't even forget you. Wish I just let it go and I feel like the bad guy. [00:16:36] Speaker C: You ruin the life. [00:16:43] Speaker F: For us carpet I've scrubbed hard and I can't stop it from spreading around the living room. A hardship has signed by you. A hardship has signed by you. A hardship that's signed by you. How can I forgive you? But I can't even forget you. You wish I just let you go and I feel like the bad guy fucking up my life overrides over us. Over us. That's just it. [00:18:03] Speaker A: All right, so that was Sydney Werthley with heart shaped mess. And I have one more show to talk about. It's this Saturday. It's at no fun. It's a hey greasy production. It is soul clap with DJ Jonathan Toobin. Plus the television airs. There's going to be a dance off with a $100 cash prize. So get on out to no fun this Saturday, March 30. It's going to be fucking killer. And there's a $100 cash prize for a dance off. Anyway, thank you for listening to this week's weekend spotlight.
