Maggie Doherty here getting ready for Tulip Fest this weekend. Repping your Saratoga bread, alt country Americana and playing with my big medicine bandmates Rick Bolton and Timmy Weckler. I've got a set of original tunes and covers and we're on this Sunday Mother's Day at 2:15 after Paintbrush Charlie and I had Atop the Trees and the Kaima Clinton Band. What an awesome lineup. I can't wait for this. We'll also be playing a new single that I'm working on in the studio. So a little tease there. I'll be repping all the moms out there with my guitar over my seven month baby bump so you literally can't miss me. But that's pretty hardcore, right? We're not slowing down yet. After Tulip Fest you can catch me playing Rick's birthday show on May 20 at the Inn in Saratoga City Six to Nine Kings Tavern on Sunday, May 31. And for the horse heads I've got a jam packed Belmont Stakes weekend. Big Medicine the Big man will be playing at the bandstand at the Saratoga Racecourse all day on Friday, June 5th. I'll be solo at Keuka Tasting Room in Saratoga on Saturday 5 to 8, and then back with Rick and Tim at King's tavern on Sunday, June 7th. From 11 to 1, Mama is booked and busy. This week marks our final release of their music, their full set as a visual EP on our YouTube channel. We would like to shout out Caitlin Pelke and the rest of the Big Girl members for such high energy and awesome theatrics during their show. Our crew, which included Eric Greenop and Dan Chester and of course the rest of the folks that made the O Positive Festival in Kingston, New York possible. I would like to just thank them all because for us this is another successful set of music that is under our belts.
